Crew Profile

Captain Name: Captain: Pawel Jasica – Polish born Pawel has been sailing since he was young, something that he is a true natural at. Now, years down the road, he is vastly experienced in luxury charters, as well as proficient in long voyages. At the age of 20, he took the opportunity to act as second officer on an Atlantic crossing, this was the turning point where he knew his future career path and has since, never looked back. Having held some very notable positions within the marine sector, gaining invaluable experience and achieving numerous certificates, he jumped at the chance to run S/Y OCEAN VIEW. His passion and drive for excellence is second to none, guests will feel completely at ease with his calm and confident demeanour. An active and fit individual, Pawel is a keen kite surfer and IKO instructor, as well as an advanced diver. In his free time, he can be found trying out new skills, most recently, free diving in the idyllic Pacific seas.

Chef: Jocelyn Dubois – Hailing from Canada, Jocelyn joins Ocean View as the chef. She has a strong background in the hospitality and catering industry, easily adapting to the requests of her guests, creating the perfect menu based on their individual preferences, whether it is health related or simply by taste. In addition, Jocelyn is a fully qualified skipper, and happy to be hands on as crew, assisting in all aspects when required. An active and fit individual, she adores swimming and anything aquatic, after all, she is an aquatic fitness instructor! In her spare time, she loves nothing more than dancing, baking, snowboarding and traveling, to mention a few.

Stewardess: Sara Soares – Sara is from Portugal and is the perfect fit for providing luxury charters and exceptional service to her guests aboard S/Y Ocean View. Her career in the hospitality sector has spanned almost a decade and included some large superyachts, giving her an extremely wide range of skills, with everything from assisting on deck, to intricate interior detailing, to helping in busy galley’s. Sara is very nature oriented and even has a degree in conservation, amongst other notable accolades. Further to this, she is a trained skipper, has her silver service certificate, advanced bartending, mixology and wine pairing courses, under her belt. As a yoga instructor, Sara is naturally fit, healthy and happy to share this time with her guests. Outside of charters, she remains active and enjoys exploring anything within nature.
