Step 3: Email to [email protected] at least (5) working days prior to your travel date:
- a completed international travel application form;
- a copy of your accredited lab issued negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test report (test must be taken 7-10 working days prior to travel date); and
- a copy of your passport photo page.
If approved, you will receive a travel approval letter via email from the Ministry of Health.

Why must I apply for travel entry into the Bahamas June 15th – 30th, 2020?
To ensure the safety and protection of all citizens and residents of The Bahamas during this global pandemic, COVID-19 travel measures have been instituted.
What information do I need to submit?
As an International Traveler entering The Bahamas June 15th – 30th, 2020 you must submit:
1. A completed international travel application form
2. A copy of your accredited lab issued negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test report.
Test must be taken 7-10 working days, prior to anticipated travel date.
The Bahamas will only accept COVID-19 negative Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT PCR) test results from a laboratory that is accredited (College of American Pathologists (CAP), COLA Inc., Joint Commission International or similar accrediting body for the jurisdiction from which travel originates) and recognized by the Ministry of Health.
3. A copy of your passport photo page
4. Any other relevant travel documents i.e. letter from your organization, medical identification etc.
How will I know if my application has been approved?
Applicants who are approved will receive by email a travel approval letter from the Ministry of Health.
How will I know if my application has been denied?
Applicants who are not approved will be informed by email of the reason(s) for non-approval and will be granted an opportunity for review with the health team to improve the likelihood of satisfying health entry requirements for admission into country.
Are there other travel requirements?
Approved travelers arriving in the Bahamas by Yacht and Pleasure Vessel must follow established Bahamian Customs and Immigration vessel clearance procedures.
Other government established fees, processes, and documentation for entry into The Bahamas are still applicable.
