Accommodations

Originally commissioned as Varsity Jacket and then becoming Strait Jacket, LADY SHARON GALE has a successful charter history, a brand new updated interior, and is ready to resume making memories of a vacation of a lifetime.

On deck, Lady Sharon Gale offers an unusually large and multifunctional cockpit which is original to the yacht's construction. All outdoor living areas are easily accessed via comfortable stairs that transition from the cockpit to aft deck to the fly bridge. The fixed hardtop provides sun protection while the Jacuzzi and bow areas have great sunning spaces..

LADY SHARON GALE'S interior is beautifully paneled in satin finished maple throughout. The furnishings, fabrics and stone are of the highest quality. The decor is cohesive and comfortable, and provides a perfect combination of informal elegance. The main salon caters to practical and informal day to day living with comfortable furnishings, a formal dining area, living room area, and full entertainment system. Forward in the galley, she features the enormous Broward "country kitchen" that provides for a casual dining space and comfortable spot to converse with the chef.

Below, the primary stateroom features a king size bed, large flat screen TV with all of the entertainment options, cedar lined closet and his-and-hers baths. Two of the guest staterooms are identical, and offer a double bed in addition to one twin bed in each cabin. Crew Profile

Captain Name: Captain KEITH CRESSMAN grew up boating, fishing, and water-skiing on the lakes in South Dakota. He was bitten by the sailing bug as a teenager; first sailIng a Sunfish14 and a Hobie Cat 16 on Big Stone Lake, South Dakota, of all places! He is an accomplished freshwater and saltwater angler.
As a youth he marveled at the adventures of Jacques Cousteau and “Calypso” and dreamed of becoming a scuba diver. Now he shares his love of diving by leading tours as PADI Divemaster.

In 1998 Keith joined friends on a bareboat charter in the BVI and discovered his sailor within! His passion for sailing led him to dream of owning his own yacht. In 2002, he put a picture of a 43’ Jeanneau Deck Salon on his refrigerator – 18 months later, he bought “Daddy’s Girl” – a sister ship of the one depicted on his fridge! He first earned his USCG Captain’s license in 2005, upgraded to a Master Mariner Credential with Sailing Endorsement in 2006 and recently upgraded his license to a Master Mariner Credential < 200 Tons. Keith has cruised the inland and coastal waters of the US and delivered yachts along the Atlantic coast and between the US and the Caribbean, sailing over 50,000 blue water miles.
Now beginning his fourth season of skippering luxury yacht charters in the Caribbean, Keith enjoys helping others enjoy epic experiences while boating, fishing, diving, exploring ashore ,and more, as they discover their own “yachtie within” and hone their skills. Keith is excited to be the Captain of the M/Y Lady Sharon Gale and looks forward to welcoming guests aboard for the vacation of a lifetime!
Keith also has a hospitality background; he loves grilling and bartending and takes great pride in delivering an exceptional experience to guests. He is an accomplished amateur sous chef, mixologist, and oenophile.

Chef ANNETTE JARVIS "AJ" SHARPE grew up in Carolina Beach on the coast of North Carolina, AJ spent her youth on, in and under the waters of the Carolina coastal area. She began her diving adventures at the age of 14 and became a PADI dive instructor at the age of 22. Sharing the underwater world with snorkelers and divers is a lifelong passion.
Sailing, boating, surfing, diving, and fishing were major parts of her life while growing up. She spent years pleasure boating and crewing on deliveries with her uncle and enjoying the crewing experiences during deliveries along the Eastern seaboard. “AJ” is a very competent crew member and a gifted chef. She is beginning her fourth season as a yacht chef.

AJ has recently completed the Yacht Chef course at Ashburton Cookery School & Chefs Academy, honing her skills and finding new ways to love guests with her food. Her calm demeanor and “can do” spirit assure that all on board feel welcome, safe and thrilled to be aboard.

AJ spent her college years working her way through school by training SCUBA divers as a PADI Dive Instructor, spearfishing and working in the restaurant industry. Her restaurant experiences allowed her to discover her passion for the culinary arts. She was a key member of the team that opened a very successful restaurant in Charlotte, NC. She assisted in food and beverage program development by creating menu items, cocktails, and catered event offerings. Her natural Southern hospitality, experience, skills, and passion for five-star service will insure that Lady Sharon Gale’s guests enjoy a fabulous culinary experience and an epic vacation aboard.

Engineer/Mate SEAN P. ROSEN is a well-educated marine engineer with quality skills, and the ability to perform safely and responsibly. He has 20+ years of experience working aboard some of the finest vessels in the world. Sean has excellent service skills and manners at all levels of guest and ship needs. Stewardess ZARA BROWNE:
Zara Browne was born in Dublin, Ireland and lived there until the age of 9. She has spent most of her time growing up in Long Island, Hoboken, New Jersey, and most recently Annapolis, Maryland. Zara has always loved to live by the water and most recently had made the move to be a live aboard on her own boat before joining Lady Sharon Gale. Growing up in Long Island made for amazing experiences spending weekends sailing with her father and enjoying time at the beach with family and friends.

Zara has been in the hospitality industry since she could first start working. She spent many years bartending in New York City and Country Clubs in Long Island. She honed her luxury hospitality experience as a Private Club Manager and Concierge to exclusive five star condominiums in Manhattan, working for two of the top amenity management companies.

After spending time away from the corporate world backpacking in South East Asia, Zara wanted a change. Through yachting she can now bring together her favorite hobbies and professional experience in hospitality.

When Zara is not working she loves to explore new places, go for long runs and work out, as she has also spent years in the fitness industry as both a competitor and personal trainer. She looks forward to connecting with the guests on Lady Sharon Gale and working with the crew to make sure they have the best time possible.
