Crew Profile

Captain Name: CAPTAIN: Stephen Quaid - Irish
Joined Spring 2017
Stephen (Steve) has long nurtured a passion for the sea and began yachting as a career in 2003 after completing an HND in Business & Finance at Thames Valley University.
Since then Stephen has accrued valuable experience onboard a variety of vessels both private and charter and has experience sailing the Caribbean, Greece and extensive knowledge of the Mediterranean. If all this wasn’t enough, Stephen also set himself the challenge of more study - and after a lot of hard work was awarded with the Master 3000 ticket.
Stephen describes himself as a safety-focused professional, specializing in planning, implementing and managing maintenance schedules and engineering activities to ensure smooth running at all times.
His experience has taught him excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and he enjoys engaging with clients and charter guests, alike. In his spare time, Stephen loves to exercise and given a spare day or so, is always up for a round of golf or some horse riding!
