Captain Name: CAPTAIN
The Captain, Neal Hall, has always been a student of the sea, before becoming a superyacht captain listening to the tell tail whispers from the sea taught him where the best surf was going to break, where the fish were going to bite and when it was time to respect an angry sea.
It was only after delivering a new build yacht across the Atlantic from Cape Town, South Africa to Florida that he decided to the leave the corporate life behind him and focus on his passions, the sea and superyachts. Captain Neal has mastered the art of orchestrating the perfect charter, be it in the Bahamas, Caribbean or Mediterranean. His determination to deliver a perfect yachting experience will not disappoint.

CHIEF MATE
Alex Forster comes to M/Y GIOIA from Knysna, South Africa. He grew up on a 32ft sailing boat which he one day plans to sail to the Pacific Ocean. Alex’s hobbies include fishing, swimming, surfing, sailing and all-round water sports.
In 2010, Alex sailed a 38ft sailing boat from Cape Town, South Africa to Greece with his Father. His innate love for the ocean led him to the yachting industry where he has worked on various motor and sail yachts for the past 10 years. He is an energetic and fun-loving person with a passion for life on the ocean.

BOSUN
Josh Knox was born and raised in Orlando Florida. Growing up his dad was a marine patrol officer so any chance he had he would go to work with him on the lake. From a young age he spent all his free time on the water, boating, surfing and fishing. His passion for the ocean is what led him into the industry. Before getting into the yachting industry, he spent most of his life in the hospitality industry working at resorts in Orlando. Josh will talk sports with you all day long while driving you around in our 35’ Intrepid.

CHIEF STEWARDESS
Claudia Rajin is from Mexico City. Claudia has enjoyed putting her service skills to great use in the yachting industry with experience on many prestigious yachts. Claudia has traveled extensively during her time onboard yachts and takes every opportunity to explore new places and cultures. She has a love for the ocean and keeps active with surfing, yoga and diving


CHEF
Enrigue Velez is a Mexican American third generation chef , “Ricky”, has been cooking professionally for 10 plus years in five star restaurants, resorts, country clubs, French bakeries and Super yachts.
This experience has trained him to deliver top notch food in many different styles of international cuisine.
Additionally, Ricky is a very passionate chef who cooks classical and traditional dishes as trained by the best in the industry, but also part of a new, young generation of chefs who love to play with the boundaries of gastronomy and newest trends , including fusions and molecular gastronomy.
