Marla has a full-width master stateroom on the main deck; two double staterooms with bath and two twin staterooms with showers on the lower deck. There is a further single cabin (with a pullman bed) located aft of the master stateroom with shower and head and perfectly suitable for a nanny/bodyguard or children.

Captain Manolis holds a Captain Class A’ Diploma. He began his career as Officer and later as Captain on container vessels, where he gained extensive sea-experience of world cruising areas. After years in containers vessels, he got involved in the yachting industry. Prior to joining Marla, he Captained M/Y PARIS (Amels 50m), M/Y TUEQ (Van de Giessen 80m), M/Y IERTAL (Admiral 26m) and M/Y APPLAUSE (Oceanco 51m). Captain Manolis is known for his high level of expertise and professionalism in the luxury yacht industry. Capt. Manolis has more than 20 years of experience at sea – the last 12 years as a Captain. With an extensive knowledge of the Greek Waters, Captain Manolis knows all the secluded bays where guests can enjoy the dramatic surroundings or can find the perfectly calm waters and the safest exclusive anchorages. Captain Manolis holds ARPA / RADAR, Medical Care Certificate, Tanker safety certificate, Ro/Ro Passenger certificate, Life Saving & Fire Fighting, ISPS Certificate (International Ship & Port Security), ISM Internal Auditor Certificate by Lloyd’s, Scuba diving license. He speaks fluent English and enjoys skiing, water sports, scuba diving, surfing and kite surfing. He is 39 years old and married.

Chief Officer – Petros Vranas

Petros is 31 years old and single. He holds a COC as 2nd Mate Unlimited – Master 500 GT II/2 with STCW/1995. He joined the yachting industry in 2002 as deckhand on board M/Y PROTON, where he moved on 2006 to apprentice officer. Since then he has served on various motor yachts, the latest as chief officer on board M/Y HAPPY DOLPHIN II. He has been on board MARLA since winter 2016. He holds the Radio General Operator (GMDSS), Ro/Ro & Passenger Ship Safety, Life Saving & Fire Fighting, ISM and ISPS Certificate (International Ship & Port Security), speedboat license and a free diver’s certificate by AIDA. His love for the sea and for all water related activities enable him to offer an array of activities with his very competent water sports orientated deck crew. Petros enjoys diving and he would be more than happy to answer all questions related to safety and bridge on board MARLA. Petros speaks fluent English.

Chief Engineer – Constantinos Papadopoulos

Constantinos is a graduate of the Greek Merchant Marine Academy and holds an Engineer Class A’ Diploma. He has sailed around the Aegean and Adriatic Sea on passenger ships since 1993. Moving into the mega yacht industry has provided Constantinos with the opportunity of sharing his proud, fond experience of engineering and looking after the safety of the yacht and all aboard. He started his career on yachts on board M/Y SEAWOLF SEA and has served as 1st engineer on board M/Y ENDLESS SUMMER, SAPPHIRE, PANTHER 2, AMICI PER SEMPRE and NALANI. Constantinos holds the following Certificates and Licenses: Ro/Ro & Passenger Ship Safety, Life Saving & Fire Fighting, ISPS Certificate (International Ship & Port Security), scuba diving license. He joins us to compliment this department and to ensure that Marla runs at her full potential at all times. He speaks fluent English. Constantinos is 39 years old and married with two children. Constantinos loves to spend his free time with his family.

2nd Engineer – George Sinos

George is a graduate of the Greek Marine Engineering Academy of Aspropyrgos and holds an Engineer Class C’ Diploma. His career on board commercial ships lasted a lengthy period of 10 years until he discovered yachting and decided to switch to the luxury marine industry on board MARLA. He also holds Certificates in Ro/Ro & Passenger Ship Safety, Life Saving & Fire Fighting and Proficiency in Medical First Aid. George enjoys having charterers on board and working with the array of sports equipment. He speaks fluent English. George is 29 years old and he enjoys soccer, snowboarding and running.

Chef – George Kalavros

George graduated in 2004 from Le Monde Culinary school. He began his career at restaurants where he learnt and performed his trade and gained experience. He has served as chef on board M/Y Endless Summer, Rini V and Monte Carlo. George learnt a vast range of recipes and cooking skills and now expertises in Greek, Italian and French cuisine. Gerorge has a wide range of gastronomic knowledge and menu specialties coupled with a strong combination of restaurant operations management and leadership skills, promising to offer an unforgettable tasting experience to all the guests. George is a key personality on board Marla and the boat is now characterized by the high level of gastronomy. Geroge speaks fluent English. He is 35 years old and married with one child.

Chief Steward – John Tezas

John is a graduate of Le Monde at Hotel Management. He began his career in 2007 as Steward on private and charter yachts throughout the Mediterranean Sea. He has served as assistant steward on board M/Y PRINCE ABDUL AZIZ (147m) and as chief steward on board M/Y S CAPE(57m) and M/Y AL DIRIYAH (86m). He joined the crew of MARLA in winter of 2017 and became familiarized with the yacht. John is extremely good at providing exceptional services. He is a certified barista, bartender and sommelier. He also holds all relevant marine Certificates (HACCP diploma, life-saving and fire-fighting, SSH, Ro-Ro passenger). His hospitality and communicative skills are second to none and he prides himself on maintaining the highest levels of service at all times. John looks forward to receiving guests on board MARLA and strives to provide the best service possible. He speaks English and Greek. John is 32 years old and single. He enjoys sports, football, travelling and swimming.

Stewardess – Dimitra Kotsampasakou

After completing her studies in cosmetic Dimitra worked in many five stars restaurants in Athens. In the summer of 2013 Dimitra decided to move to yachting industry on board M/Y Sapphire and later on board M/Y O'Ceanos and O'Rama. Dimitra's boundless energy and pleasant personality will help make your stay aboard MARLA as delightful as possible. Dimitra loves children creativity and she is more than happy to take care of the little guests. She speaks fluent English and loves literature and travelling. Dimitra is 29 years old and single.

Assistant Stewardess – Iveta Kubikova

Iveta is a graduate of Technical school, where she specialized in hotel services and tourism, and she holds Life Saving, Fire Fighting and power boat certificates. Iveta entered the yachting industry in 2011 on board O’RAMA and she has served as stewardess in O’NEIRO, ZALIV III and R-MANY. She is extremely polite and professional and guarantees impeccable service for her guests. Iveta’s pleasant, warm, and accommodating personality ensures that all guests will receive the best of her service at all times while on board. She speaks Greek, English and Czech. Iveta is 34 years old and she enjoys travelling, water sports, photography and ice skating.

Assistant Steward – Dimitris Makariou

Dimitris’ extensive background in the hospitality industry in accordance with his studies/seminars in hotel services and tourism turned him to focus on the yachting industry. Bosun – Dimitris Karagiannopoulos

Dimitris is 48 years old and holds a 3rd grade governor licensed Merchant Marine. Dimitris started his sea career on board yachts and has over 24 years experience in various private and charter yachts, such as M/Y ATHINA, LALLABAY, SERENITY, FELLIGO, SEA LION and S/Y GITANA. Dimitris welcomes the opportunity to instruct or assist in all water sports provided on board Marla. He speaks English and during his free time he enjoys sailing and scuba diving.

Deckhand – Vasilis Katsouras

Vasilis is a qualified deckhand holding Certificates in Passenger Safety, Life Saving & Fire Fighting, sailing certificate for open seas (skipper) and a Speedboat License. Vasilis started his career on passenger ships and moved to yachting industry in 2014. Vasilis’ wealth of knowledge and skill in the water make him a valuable part of the deck team. Deckhand – Nikos Boudouris

Nikos started working on yachts at a young age and discovered yachting through his father who had many distinctions in international sailing competitions, including first world championship and third place in Olympic Games in 1980.
