Captain Adam grew up on the beautiful islands of The Bahamas, specifically in Nassau. During his childhood, he would fish throughout the island with his grandfather which led to his participation in fishing competitions where he was awarded top captain.
Captain Adam started boating in his early childhood years and full time immediately after graduating high school. His grandfather and brothers led him to pursue his career on the water due to his passion for the ocean. Captain Adam has now been onboard private and charter vessels for about 20 years.
A thrilling, one of a kind, luxurious experience is what Captain Adam is dedicated to providing to all of his guests. He puts great detail into curating the perfect itinerary to encapsulate the needs of everyone on board. He carries with him am infectious positive attitude which translates through his dynamic crew.
When he is not busy orchestrating the ultimate charter experience aboard ABOUT TIME, you can find Captain fishing and learning new fishing secrets. One thing is for sure, you will never find him too far from the water.



Laura Kakko – Stew

Laura grew up in a small town north of Finland with her parents and two siblings. She spent her childhood very close to nature, fishing, hunting, and collecting berries and mushrooms in the forest. She also started practicing Judo at a very young age, participating in national and international competitions. For the past six years, Laura has been travelling the world with her boyfriend.
Laura was first introduced to the yachting industry through her boyfriend, and was fascinated with the versatile opportunities the industry offers. Since she had already spent a lot of time on boats, fishing around the lakes with her father in Finland, Laura found yachting to be a perfect fit.
With her background in practical nursing, Laura believes her experience working in a fast pace environment, is a valuable asset onboard. She wants all guests to get an experience that matches their personal needs and expectations. Laura is a strong believer that one size does not fit all and she is committed to providing every guest with a unique experience.
Laura is very passionate about traveling, learning different cultures, and gaining new experiences. When Laura is not busy providing high quality service aboard ABOUT TIME, you can find her reading and spending as much time in nature as possible.



Giampaolo Danielli – Chef
Education/Certifications: Italian Chef Academy, MCA Master 200 /OOW 500 GT

Giampaolo grew up in a family of four in Milano, Italy. He entered the yachting industry 20 years ago, starting off as a deck officer before deciding to follow his passion for cooking. Giampaolo is always willing to go above and beyond for his guests, creating an unmatched culinary experience. His specialty is Mediterranean and Italian with fusion influences although he has knowledge of many different styles of cuisines and the ability to cater to any dietary requests. Giampaolo wants to continually satisfy the palettes of his guests by constantly discovering new ingredients that enhance his dishes. His friendly personality is sure to win over the hearts of everyone on board as he loves to learn about different cultures.
As Giampaolo awaits to welcome guests aboard his table, you can find him fishing, diving, and traveling.



Jason Williams – First Officer
Education/Certifications: Master of Yachts 200 ton unlimited, PADI Dive Master, Level 1 FFI Freediver, Emergency First Responder and AEC Engineer
Languages: English
Nationality: Fiji Islands

Jason was fortunate to be born and raised Fiji, an exotic island in the south pacific. Growing up on such a small archipelago surrounded by the south Pacific Ocean is where his love for the ocean and everything involved with it grew in his heart. During his childhood, days were spent fishing and spearfishing in the great blue yonder with his brother and during his secondary school years, Jason played rugby in New Zealand. He is a keen aviation enthusiast, brought along by his father who is an engineer, and through his grandfather, Jason grew a liking to golf.
Jason entered the yachting industry in 2010 and hasn’t looked back since. He brings onboard the island vibe coupled with a safety conscious mind. In the future, he hopes to become captain as well as gain his private pilots license with a successful eco business back home in Fiji.
In Jason’s spare time, you can find him spearfishing, freediving, golfing, cooking, or enjoying a good movie.



Ojumiri Sawyerr – Engineer
Education/Certifications: BSc Marine Engineering, Class 2 Unlimited Engineer Officer
Languages: English, Ga, and Akan
Nationality: African

OJ Grew up in Accra, the capital city of Ghana with this two sisters and brother. He started his career as an engineer on commercial vessels in 2008 after watching a documentary on yachting and becoming fascinated with what he saw.
OJ takes great pride in the maintenance of the vessel. His number one priority is ensuring the safety of everyone on board so guests are kept at ease. He strives to make certain that all guests have a thrilling experience onboard ABOUT TIME, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
In his spare time, OJ loves to read, watch movies, play soccer, and be handy with tools.



Renan D'Abreu Figueiredo – Bosun
Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Postgraduate in Finance, STCW, PSA, PBL2, PWI, YMO
Languages: Portuguese, English, and Spanish
Nationality: Brazilian

Renan hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Living in a big city by the sea, he grew up doing water activities such as surfing, snorkeling, and fishing, which has led him to have a strong connection with the ocean. As a kid, Renan was always into sports playing many of them along the years including, soccer, volleyball, different martial arts, horse riding, and many more.
Renan started boating in 2018 and sees the yachting industry as an opportunity to build a career at the place he likes the most, the ocean. He has now worked onboard M/Y ODYSSEA, M/Y FAR FROM IT, M/Y ALEGRIA and others. Prior to entering yachting, Renan worked as a Business Management Consultant. Renan wants all guests to experience a sense of happiness that they have never felt before. In the coming years, he wants to work his way up to captain, running his own charter program out of exotic destinations.
During his free time, Renan likes reading, running, weight lifting and enjoying the beach. His greatest passion is traveling and discovering different places. He has now been to 63 countries and spent four years backpacking around the world.
Renan is ready to teach guests all of his favorite water sports activities to make for an unforgettable adventure.
