Lagoon Catamarans have a long history of building beautiful, well-made yachts, but it’s with each new model that they retain the yacht charter industry’s attention. This is more evident in the Caribbean catamaran TELLSTAR, a sailing catamaran available for charter.

TELLSTAR is a 62-foot luxurious Lagoon Seventy 7 catamaran. The yacht accommodates eight guests in four spacious cabins. There are three queen cabins and one twin cabin. All have ensuite facilities.

Although you may want to spend most of your time outdoors, the interior layout is optimized for space and comfort. The salon is bright, comfortable, and roomy and opens not only to the aft cockpit but also directly to the forward cockpit for seamless movement around the yacht. In addition, a massive flybridge affording an uncompromising 360* view.

The Crew Aboard Catamaran TELLSTAR

Captain Giovanni Damiani

As a child, Gio was raised in the hustle and bustle of London; but at 11 years old, he fell head over heels for sailing. His passion for adventure and the strength to move toward anything water related never left him ever since. A graduate from 2012 with a degree in Marine Biology who worked as a marine wildlife observer on oil exploration ships worldwide.

Buying his first sailboat – Gulfstar – four years ago and embarking on an expedition business called Project Moana, creating documentaries about people and nature published by National Geographic. Gio has been an instructor in windsurfing and sailing for the past twenty years. He is also certified in PADI scuba instruction.

Chef Jayde Couzyn

With over thirty thousand nautical miles behind her, Chef Jayde Couzyn has had various sailing experiences. This includes three trans-Atlantic crossings since 2013. Thanks to her can-do attitude, she’s worked aboard everything from 48ft catamarans to 160ft monohulls and everywhere in between.

Despite having earned her RYA Master Offshore ticket—a great asset anywhere you go—her passion for cooking is an example of living your life doing what you love most at all times. Along with hiking, diving (PADI Advanced), and other water sports, she also enjoys blogging about food on Instagram @jaydecouzyn.
