Sheldon Lindsay and Vanessa Bush – Your Crew for Spring and Summer

Captain Sheldon Lindsay is a seasoned RYA Ocean Yacht Master Commercial with an impressive 400,000 nautical miles under his belt. In fact, he’s practically grown up on the water, starting sailing at age eight and competing in various regattas. Sheldon’s a diesel mechanic and a well-rounded water sports enthusiast, ready to teach you wakeboarding or skiing. He’s a true sea aficionado with many ocean-crossing stories, including encounters with pirates and Cape Horn.

Chef Vanessa Bush, lovingly known as Nessie, has a wealth of experience in boat catering and European villa cuisine. She specializes in Italian/French and Caribbean flavors. She’s a galley pro with an adventurous spirit, having circumnavigated the world on a 40-foot steel boat.

Sheldon and Vanessa are open-water dive certified. They also have advanced first aid certificates. They’re enthusiastic about meeting people from around the globe. They have chartered in various parts of the world, from the Caribbean to the Med and Thailand.

Mike and Lesley Blamey – Sail Away’s Crew for Autumn and Winter

Captain Mike and Chef Lesley Blamey bring warm South African hospitality to BVI Catamaran SAIL AWAY. They share a lifelong love of the ocean and water sports.

Captain Mike is a qualified RYA Yachtmaster with 50,000 sea miles. He’s also a Padi Dive Master, waterskiing and surfing expert, and an all-around great guy. His barman skills and storytelling make for lively evenings aboard.

Chef Lesley is a certified diver with 45,000 sea miles logged. Her cuisine is a delightful blend of flavors from around the world. Moreover, she’s natural with kids, ensuring they have a blast while you enjoy a dive or visit beach bars.

This happy couple has been married for 40 years, and their bond makes them an incredible team.

Chef Leann Ho-Chung

Last but certainly not least, Chef Leann Ho-Chung is an adventurous Australian chef with 15 years of culinary experience. She has professional training and brings her talents to the Sail Away crew, promising culinary delights for every guest. Chef Leann can accommodate any dietary restrictions.
