Bahamas Power Catamaran PRINCESS MILA | Sample Itinerary
The following itinerary is just a sample. We will work with you and your captain to create a custom itinerary based on your interests and desires and the weather during travel.
Day One: Depart Nassau to Highbourne Cay (35 NM)
Meet the yacht and the crew at the marina. After settling in your cabin, set sail for the beautiful Exumas. Drop anchor in a bay close to Highbourne Cay.
Here you can dip in the idyllic waters of Highbourne and tender over to the land of the roaming iguanas. Meet Highbourne’s resident parrot and enjoy a drink at Exumas restaurant with a spectacular view across the bay. Enjoy the sunset, relaxing with some canapés and refreshments.
Day 2: Shroud Cay (15 NM)
Awake and have a leisurely breakfast in the bay. After breakfast, enjoy water activities with the yacht’s selection of water toys. Sail down and anchor at Shroud Cay.
Go for a snorkel at Escobar’s plane, the home of various aquatic life. Kayak or paddleboard and navigate the mangrove creeks filled with turtles, birds, and scenic waterways. After an early afternoon full of activities, pick up the anchor and cruise to the anchorage at Warderick Wells.
Day 3: Big Majors Cay (20 NM)
Today is the day to put your sneakers on! After breakfast, explore the world’s oldest Land and Sea Park, where you can hike to Boo-Boo Beach. Cruise to Big Majors Cay for fishing and a delicious BBQ dinner on the yacht.
Day 4: Staniel Cay (2 NM)
After a good night’s rest, open the blinds in your cabin and see the beautiful blue Bahamian water. After breakfast, the captain will hoist the anchor and travel to Staniel Cay.
See Thunderball Grotto and experience the world-renowned ‘007’ cave with tropical marine life, bright-colored coral, and rays of light dancing through the cave’s hollow shell. It’s definitely an adrenaline junkie’s paradise!
After lunch, take a very short dinghy ride to the “Original Swimming Pigs” of the Bahamas and give them some love and snacks! Enjoy a drink at Staniel Cay Yacht Club, where you can enjoy some amazing local Bahamian food.
Day 5: Compass Cay (5 NM)
Set sail early for Compass Cay Marina. Drop the anchor and tender to the marina, where you can feed, swim, and pet the most placid sharks you will ever meet! Spend the day enjoying some water sports, grab a kayak or SUP, and paddle to check out the ancient Lucayan burial grounds of Rocky Dundas caves.
Swim in and explore the amazing natural cathedral ceiling, where the light shines through, exposing the fantastic colors of the stalactites and stalagmites along the grotto’s walls. To end the day off, go for a fantastic snorkel at the Aquarium and then head back to the boat. Have dinner on the deck.
Day 6: Rose Island (35 NM)
Set sail for Nassau and anchor at Rose Island or Lyford Cay. On arrival, have lunch. For the remainder of the day, swim, use the water toys, or stroll on the beach. Afterward, head back to the marina, where you can enjoy an evening around Paradise Island, Atlantis Resort. Enjoy dinner onboard or at various restaurants within walking distance from the Marina.
Day 7: End of Itinerary
Take your time getting up, enjoy breakfast, and get your belongings ready to finish your trip on Bahamas Power Catamaran PRINCESS MILA.
