The Yacht

OLGA has a beautiful hardwood interior of Sapele and Pomele Mahogany. It’s complemented with upscale furnishings in an open-plan saloon and dining area. The formal dining area seats ten guests. The salon opens onto the aft deck where there’s another alfresco dining area. In addition, the aft deck has a full wet bar. For those who enjoy sunbathing, there’s a large comfortable sun pad area on the foredeck.

Since OLGA’s flybridge is so large, it’s a great place to entertain under the sun or stars. In addition, there’s a large sun deck area, Jacuzzi, and barbeque along with great views.

Accommodations

The yacht accommodates 8 guests in 5 cabins. All cabins have a flat-screen plasma TV, closed-circuit TV, and audio system. The plush master suite has a king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe, vanity, settee, and large en suite with both bath and shower. The Crew

Captain: Bernard Calot
Bernard was born and raised in Valencia, Spain, where he honed his fishing and sailing skills. At age 18 his family moved to Canada where the winter was a little too cold, so he resumed his first love…sailing navigation. Bernard speaks fluent Spanish, French, English, and Italian.

First Mate/Engineer: Clemron Nanton
Clem grew up in St-Vincent and The Grenadines. He is a hard-working and fun-loving team member. After finishing school, Clem worked with Disney cruise lines for 7 years. Once he discovered yachting he decided to continue his maritime career in this industry. Immediately thereafter he worked for a year on a 100′ charter yacht before joining OLGA.

The Destination: Bahamas

OLGA is based in Nassau, the Bahamas through the summer.

While in Nassau, enjoy a charming mix of old and new architecture, duty-free shopping, and dining from the waterfront to Bay Street. There are many other things to do besides shopping, such as swimming with dolphins, playing casino games, or snorkeling with colorful tropical fish.

On Nassau’s Paradise Island you’ll find a variety of unique tours and activities such as culinary adventures through downtown Nassau, Segway tours through Bahamian history, and horseback tours through gorgeous aquamarine waters. No matter how you decide to explore Nassau and Paradise Island, you’re sure to discover something new around every corner.

Bahamas Itineraries

From the starting point in Nassau, set off on a week (or longer!) luxury yacht vacation.

Day 2 – 7 Shroud Cay
Leave Nassau early in the morning and arrive at Shroud Cay, the gateway to the Exuma Cays Land and Sea National Park.

This huge marine park was the first land and marine park in the world. Fishing here is strictly forbidden, but it is a fabulous scuba diving and snorkeling location.

Day 3 – Compass Cay
Arrive at Compass Cay. Swim with nurse sharks and snorkel among a myriad of colorful fish.

Day 4 – 5 – 7 Big Major Cay – Staniel Cay
Big Major Cay is home to the famous swimming pigs. Be sure to take a photo with these iconic animals.

Staniel Cay. Here you’ll find Thunderball Grotto, a fantastic underwater cave. During low tide, you can swim to it and discover a world teeming with colorful tropical fish.

Day 6 – Norman’s Cay
Norman’s Cay was once the base for the Colombian drug cartels run by the infamous Pablo Escobar. Now, it is a much sought-after destination for snorkelers thanks to the notable Norman Cay plane wreck. The remains of a crashed plane are clearly visible on the shallow seabed.

Day 7 – 8 Days Paradise Island and back
Before arriving at the port for the final farewell, we spend the last day at sea circling Paradise Island.
