Planning itineraries is part of the fun of your yacht charter vacation. Where do you want to go? What do you want to see and experience? Here are just a few tips on this important stage of your luxury yacht charter.
- Keep an open mind. Remember that the itinerary is just an outline of the islands, ports, or anchorages you would like to visit. All boating trips rely on the winds and the weather, and more currently, the entry requirements. Remaining flexible is key.
- Communicate with us. We will work closely with you to determine what is important for you and your traveling group. We will even arrange an online meeting with you and the captain and crew to discuss your desires and expectations.
- Communicate with your traveling group. In the planning stages, have everyone contribute some of the places they would like to see and things they would like to do. Depending on the length of your charter, you may be able to satisfy everyone’s interests.
- Remain flexible. The weather and wind are often unpredictable.
Itinerary Planning starts prior to your arrival on board. In addition, every day or evening, your captain will consult with you about the following day’s plan.
