Laurent joined the Yachting industry in 1987, where he started at Eze sur Mer in 1987 at 19 years old with a Riva “Super Florida” for water skiing and a “Riva SuperAquarama” for day trips charter between St Tropez, Cannes, Monaco, and northern Italy. With 30 years of experience and extensive technical knowledge in yachting, Laurent has spent 21 of those years as a yacht captain, as for example on M/Y Miss Claudia (82 feet), on M/Y PASSION IV (72 feet), on M/Y NO ONE SLEEPS (72 feet), on M/Y SPLENDID V (Pershing, 68 feet). For the 2024 season, he held the position of Captain on M/Y KOKONUT’S WALLY (86,1 feet).
Laurent is well organized, and consistent in his work. He has good attention to details, and very attentive to the guest’s comforts, needs and safety. Naturally discreet, service oriented, he also makes sure that he instils this to his crew.
He embodies the quintessence of calm and assurance, even in the most delicate situations. Her background is equally impressive: a major in Hospitality Management, early experience with Michelin-starred chef Michel Guérard at Relais & Châteaux, and over a decade in high-level hospitality and management roles in France. From directing a semi-gastronomic restaurant in Marseille to managing events with top-tier caterers, she brings an exceptional sense of organization, discretion, and care to every detail.
