Captain Paris Drakopoulos is an experienced and dedicated motor yacht captain with over 14 years of hands-on leadership in both private and commercial yachting. Licensed since 2010 and recently graduated from the Greek Maritime Academy with a 1500GT diploma (2024), he combines technical expertise with strong crew management and organizational skills.
Known for his calm demeanor, adaptability, and professionalism, Captain Paris brings confidence to his guests alike. Fluent in English and a native Greek speaker, he ensures smooth communication and a safe, enjoyable yachting experience. He is a father of two ! Highly active and passionate about watersports, he excels in wakeboarding, water skiing, surfing, snowboarding, and mountain biking.

Chef Thanos Giannakopoulos
Thanos is a highly skilled and versatile chef with a rich background in both high-end hospitality and yachting. With over a decade of culinary experience and formal training from Le Monde Institute of Hotel & Tourism Studies, he brings professionalism, creativity, and precision to every galley he operates.
Thanos most recently served as Sole Chef on board the 24-meter charter yacht M/Y Freedom and as Sous & Crew Chef on board the 73-meter M/Y Lady Vera, where he successfully catered to diverse dietary requirements and delivered refined dishes under pressure. His yachting experience is supported by a long-standing career in luxury hotels, including multiple seasons at the Sofitel Athens Airport Hotel, where he worked in cooperation with Executive Chef Fanis Stathis in à la carte and inflight catering services.
A natural leader in the kitchen, Thanos has held multiple Head Chef positions, demonstrating strong organizational skills, menu planning capabilities, and an exceptional command of both traditional Greek cuisine and international gastronomy. His commitment to hygiene, safety (HACCP certified), and continuous professional development is reflected in his participation in seminars such as sushi masterclasses and buffet innovation by Alain Ducasse Education.
Beyond his culinary talent, Thanos is known for his calm demeanor, team spirit, and adaptability—qualities that make him a reliable presence on board. Passionate about cooking, travel, photography, and environmental causes, he brings both technical expertise and a positive energy
Stewardess Calliope Karavangeli
Calliope Karavangeli is a highly motivated and personable crew member with a strong background in luxury hospitality and guest services. With her roots in Greece, she brings a warm Mediterranean charm and a naturally hospitable demeanor to every guest interaction. Her experience spans high-end restaurants and cruises in Santorini, where she worked as both a waitress at the prestigious Canaves Collection and a hostess aboard vessels such as the Pardo 43 and Ferretti 55 with Sunset Oia Sailing Cruises.
Calliope excels in creating a welcoming atmosphere onboard, ensuring every guest feels at ease from the moment they arrive. Her excellent communication skills, combined with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail, allow her to manage guest needs with efficiency and care. She handles pressure with grace and always maintains a positive, can-do attitude. Currently expanding her nautical qualifications with both a Speed Boat License and an Offshore Sailing Certificateas well as her background in education and sign language also adds a unique layer of versatility and empathy to her interactions with guests and crew alike. She speaks Greek and English.
Deckhand Konstantinos Dimitriadis
Konstantinos, with 5+ years of experience in chartering is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operation and organization of Freedom. Before entering the yachting industry, he graduated Institution of Higher Vocational Education at Moscow State University of Economics. . Additionally, he attended a Nautical high school in Piraeus, demonstrating his commitment to maritime pursuits. He holds Category B licence diploma and speedboat operator licence. His deep-rooted passion for the sea has been an unwavering force in his life. He speaks Greek , English & Russian!
