Captain Kyle TaylorKyle's sailing journey began in Bellingham, Washington. From there, he crewed aboard a schooner in the Mediterranean, where his passion for the sea only grew. He continued to build his maritime resume aboard ships in Tampa, Florida, where he attended Sea School and earned his 100-ton USCG Captain's license. Recently, Kyle upgraded to a 200-ton license, further expanding his capabilities.
Since obtaining his initial license, Kyle has logged over 10,000 nautical miles across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, South Pacific, North Pacific, and Atlantic. His early career focused on boat deliveries along the U.S. East Coast and the Caribbean, later transitioning into teaching. After instructing in the Caribbean and the Pacific Northwest, Kyle has spent the last several years teaching ASA courses throughout the San Juan Islands.
In more recent years, Kyle has shifted his focus from sailing to yachts, running motor yachts from Florida to the Virgin Islands, and now along the West Coast of the United States. His extensive experience and passion for the water continue to guide his career.
