Yacht charter review from guests aboard 55ft catamaran ROCKETEER in the BVI:
“Hi, Chris,
This was our first sailing trip for a more extended period and our first trip to the BVI, and we have to say that it was much, much better than going to a luxury resort! Rocketeer has enough place for sitting outside, eating, or sunbathing. The living room is quite spacious and has all the amenities, such as air-conditioning and surround music from radio/cd/iPod. As we were three people, we were in 2 cabins on one side of the boat. The cabins had an ensuite bathroom/shower, and we had privacy and enough storage/sleeping space.
The Crew is So Welcoming
But what we enjoyed very much was the genuine hospitality and all-time efforts of Grassa and Glenn to make us feel like part of their family. We were always spoiled with attention, consideration, and genuine 5-star service. Grassa prepared incredible food based on our preferences.
We loved her coconut shrimp, fish curries, grilled lobster, and crab cake. Our daughter especially liked the coco and passion fruit ice cream. My wife and I both enjoyed the whole guava cheese pie prepared fresh for us. Not only is Grassa is a wonderful cook, but she also uses high-quality ingredients. We can say about the drinks and fruits we were served on board.
Glenn is a very patient captain. He always chose routes and harbors for our comfort and pleasure. Captain Glen even managed to make me retrieve and secure a mooring after our five days of sailing. He was very good at explaining some sailing tips regarding wind-sail relations to a novice. It was special for me to get a lesson from a real champ! Choosing the BVI was also good as we’ve been before only in USVI and missed the secluded beaches of Anegada and the picturesque bays from Virgin Gorda, Peter Island, and the Dog Islands. We hope to come back soon and sail again with this great couple and their 55 feet ROCKETEER catamaran.
